| 1984 ? Mike Afford replaces Matt Lyons and a rehearsal takes place in Twickenham. Songs from this session (recordings of which exist) include 'Angelfield', 'E', 'The Virginian', 'Stand and Watch the Walls Go By' and 'Chicken Dance'. For the most part the band used a drum machine, although it has been suggested that ex-Breed drummer Malcolm did the honours at some point... Although this band was to reform later as angelfield, and would frequently record material over the years (who can forget the mighty 'Frog Chorus'?), at some point in the mid-eighties enthusiasm waned. There was an extended hiatus of many years before the band re-emerged as Angelfield. In the meantime, various other musical avenues were explored... |
